Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Englewood, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy surgical unit that performs a variety of procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine surgeries. The role involves providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures within a well-equipped and collaborative environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Circulating and scrubbing experience, Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Additional Information: The unit has 408 beds with a dedicated team including OR RNs, CSTs, clinical charge RNs, and support staff. On-call duties are scheduled from 5 PM to 7 PM once weekly, with additional on-call every six weeks if the orthopedic surgeon is on-call. The unit features advanced equipment such as Stryker video systems, and a focus on patient experience, effective communication, and adaptability to change.
