Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician 1, based in Frisco, Texas, is responsible for assisting with technical procedures and supporting patient care services under the general supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring a safe and efficient clinical environment. This position requires immediate availability and offers an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals seeking a temporary assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 0630-1500, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 0 years minimum experience including but not limited to, ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Food bolus, GI bleed, stent placement, dilations, bronchoscopy; HS-GED (high school diploma or GED)
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have immediate availability for a 13-week assignment
  • Call requirement of 12-14 days per month, including weekends
  • Operating and maintaining endoscopy equipment safely and assisting with aseptic techniques during procedures
  • Preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring proper disinfection of equipment
  • Participating in performance improvement activities and attending required staff meetings
