Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT (PACU) Registered Nurse in California. This position involves providing care for surgical patients pre-operatively and post-operatively, with a focus on weekend coverage. The role requires current licensure and experience with the electronic medical record system, EPIC. It is primarily a night/weekend shift position, offering an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma center environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, with 10 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing; current BLS certification; EPIC EMR experience; at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA); successful completion of prior travel assignments.
• Additional Information: Enloe Medical Center only accepts agency staff who are W-2 employees of their respective agency. Med/Surg and Critical Care Registered Nurse positions are required to float as needed. Position urgency is normal, and candidate submissions should be directed accordingly.
