Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The emergency room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position is based in Dover, New Hampshire, within a busy fast-paced emergency department. This role involves providing critical patient care during night shifts, with the opportunity to work in a well-established facility. The position is suited for professionals committed to delivering high-quality emergency care and supporting a dynamic team environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Dover, NH
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid active compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; 2 years of hospital emergency room experience; candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a free-standing emergency department environment, CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse), or TCRN (Trauma Certified Registered Nurse) certifications.
• Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive emergency nursing care, performing typical procedures in an emergency department setting, supporting optimal patient outcomes with independent, critical thinking, and adaptability.
• Additional Information: The unit has 11 beds with a staff of 16, utilizing the Meditech electronic medical record system. The team includes RNs working different shifts with varied patient ratios, emphasizing autonomous decision-making and clinical excellence.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
