Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized care in a dedicated maternity unit within a healthcare facility. It is a dynamic environment requiring clinical expertise and strong communication skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing, at least 3 years of experience in labor and delivery, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALS-OB), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance, with weekly orientation on Mondays. Postpartum care experience and adaptability are highly preferred. The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, utilizing Centricity and Meditech electronic health record systems.
