Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift position at a healthcare provider located in Westerville, Ohio. The role involves providing specialized patient care in the PACU setting, with scheduled shifts from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, averaging four shifts per week, plus on-call responsibilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and post-operative care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of relevant PACU experience, and current CPR certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The role requires adhering to facility standards and protocols, including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Call shifts are typically one per week on weekdays, with weekend call shifts also available. Candidates should be prepared for flexibility in shift coverage as needed.
