Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a qualified Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse for a rotating shift in Illinois. This role involves working in an acute care hospital setting, providing postoperative recovery care to patients. The position offers a dynamic schedule with rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and requires dedication to patient safety and efficient recovery processes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., with an 8-hour shift, totaling at least 40 hours per week. The shift concludes at 8:30 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: IL License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 3+ years of solid acute care hospital experience, at least one travel contract completed, successful passing of an EKG test with 80% or higher, Critical Care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting.

• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Weekend Requirements: 4-5 weeknights (8 p.m. - 7 a.m.) and 2-24-hour weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule.
• On-Call Requirements: 4-5 weeknights (8 p.m. - 7 a.m.) and 2-24-hour weekend shifts during a 6-week cycle.
• Holiday Requirements: Per call rotation.
• Orientation: 4 hours, non-billable.
• Credentials Due: Wednesday prior to start date.
