Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor positions are available in the Northport, Alabama area. This role involves providing patient-facing medical care and supporting recovery efforts for patients undergoing rehabilitation after hospitalization. The position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes through advanced therapy equipment and comprehensive medical supervision.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross certification, valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted), at least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant field, with a total of 2 years of experience or 18 months working under the highest professional license if less than 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in rehabilitation or functional recovery settings is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The position requires willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed. The role includes working every other weekend and holidays as required. The work environment utilizes Meditech electronic medical records. All candidates must be willing to adhere to facility dress code of Solid Navy scrubs.
