Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in New London, New Hampshire. This position involves integrating collaborative care planning for individual patients and implementing nursing standards in the processes of care. The role requires adherence to facility protocols, including collaboration with LNA staff, Nurse Leads, and House Supervisors, utilizing EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 3+ years of current Medical Surgical (MS) nursing experience, previous travel experience preferred, and must include a permanent address in profile.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratios: 6:1 at most, with assistance from 2 Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor.
  • The assignment requires charge nurse experience.
  • Prior to submission, candidates must upload their New Hampshire RN license or Compact license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
  • All scheduling requests, including time off, must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
  • Candidates must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
  • No block scheduling or 48-hour guarantee is available for this need.
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted; local travelers are not eligible for this assignment.
