Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing as a Surgical Technician (ST) in Ohio will support orthopedic surgical cases across multiple sites, including the main hospital and outpatient surgery center. The role involves assisting with orthopedic procedures, managing implants and grafts, and supporting additional surgical specialties as needed, with a focus on maintaining sterile techniques and perioperative standards.

Job Details:

• Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
• Location: Zanesville, Ohio
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Surgical Technician Certification, minimum 2 years` operating room experience with orthopedic focus, experience with orthopedic implants and grafts, strong understanding of sterile technique and perioperative standards, flexibility to support additional surgical specialties, adaptability to different teams and workflows, experience with robotics and advanced surgical technology.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The orthopedic travel surgical technician will provide intraoperative support for orthopedic surgeries and assist in other surgical cases when not assigned to orthopedic procedures. Participation in call rotation and maintaining timely response are required. Flexibility based on surgical volume and departmental needs is essential.
