Job Summary:
Pre Op Registered Nurse position in Vermont. This role involves rotating day and evening shifts, with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. The position requires performing preoperative assessments and preparing patients for surgical procedures within a healthcare facility setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in any state; Vermont license application to be submitted upon acceptance. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required (can be obtained during onboarding). Dysrhythmia testing is required and can be completed during onboarding. Cerner experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Orientation is held on a biweekly basis. Schedule requests are subject to manager approval. The role requires prior experience as a registered nurse; however, no minimum years of experience are mandated. Candidate must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible. All employment gaps over 30 days should be explained or documented. Providers are encouraged to review the profile packet for work history details, including health system name, campus, bed count, EMR technology, facility type or trauma level, and patient ratios.
