Job Summary:
Puyallup, Washington This Social Worker position involves providing acute inpatient social work services in a Level III trauma center. The role requires independent clinical social work licensure and experience with behavioral health assessments, discharge planning, and post-acute placements. The position involves working on 12-hour night shifts, with responsibilities starting immediately upon assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule cycle determined by the manager. Shifts may include weekends on a rotating basis, and the schedule will be provided a few weeks prior to the start date.
• Required Qualifications: Masters in social work and Washington state License, minimum of 2 years of recent acute inpatient social work or case management experience, total of 4 years of social work experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is preferred; proof of current supervision status if Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) is held; willingness to accept Washington LICSW temporary probationary license.
• Additional Information: The role involves reviewing facility fixed notes, working independently with initial patient interventions, and supporting patients through behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Orientation will last approximately 1-3 days, and staff are expected to begin seeing patients on day one. Travelers will be expected to adhere to business casual dress code and will have access to free parking. Breaks are mandated; overtime must be requested and is subject to approval.
