Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing (MS SNF) position in Montour Falls, New York. This role involves providing patient-centered care within a 3-unit, 120-bed facility. The RN Team Lead will oversee daily operations, assist with direct patient care, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care for residents.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting on 08/09/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN (Registered Nurse) license, high school diploma or equivalent, must be able to perform liftings up to 50 lbs., must be able to sit or stand for long periods, and minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or skilled nursing units, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), and ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN Team Lead will be responsible for assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patient conditions. They will practice ethically and professionally, promote evidence-based practices, and coordinate patient care across units. The role requires effective communication, documentation, and participation in staff meetings and unit councils. The candidate might be required to drop to an LPN position as staffing needs dictate, and must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday.
