Registered Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care Nurse Practitioner in Soldotna, Alaska. This position involves managing goal-directed nursing care in a skilled nursing facility setting, utilizing nursing processes and principles of primary nursing. The role requires delivering care during designated shifts, with a focus on patient well-being and adherence to departmental and facility standards.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotating schedule.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Alaska RN license, BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine, 1 year of long-term care experience, BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine.
• Additional Information: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with policies and standards. Skilled in use of clinical databases, applicable software, and peripheral equipment. Orientation includes general and Planetree programs. Follows a cancellation policy allowing up to 24 hours notice during a 13-week assignment.
