Registered Nurse / Pediatric Psychology

Job Summary:
Psychiatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler in Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing mental health and behavioral support in a psychiatric emergency setting, with shifts running overnight. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment, supporting patients with complex psychiatric needs.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM 7:15 AM)
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/08/2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Aurora, Colorado
• Travel Required: Yes
• Float: No
• Required Qualifications: BSN degree, active RN license, minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience, current BLS certification, ability to become certified in Safety Care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care, behavioral health, or medically complex settings; pediatric psychiatric emergency experience; clinical experience with eating disorder populations (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID) in inpatient, residential, or partial-hospitalization settings; competency with NG tube placement, monitoring, and maintenance; background in medical, med-surg, or acute care; trauma-informed, patient-centered care; effective interdisciplinary collaboration; strong communication skills; flexibility and adaptability; clinical documentation proficiency
• Additional Information: No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
