Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Austin, Texas. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The role requires delivering patient-centered care, adhering to safety protocols, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Texas nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); 2 years of experience in emergency nursing; no minimum experience required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of Texas; BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC certifications must be obtained by start date; 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred or listed as a minimum of 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with more than 2 years of emergency room experience are considered first.
• Additional Information: The shift schedule includes night shifts with a total of 4 weekend shifts per schedule rotation. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 4:1 and is equipped with Meditech electronic medical records. Candidates should be great team players, anticipate patient and department needs, and adhere to dress code requirements navy blue scrubs and zip-up navy blue sweaters are acceptable; pull-over sweatshirts are not allowed.
