Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Bridgeton, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, supervising supporting staff, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, focusing on safe and effective recovery outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Location: Bridgeton, Missouri
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required prior to first shift, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required prior to first shift (if applicable), minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience or equivalent clinical experience, certification, education, and experience aligned with the skills needed for the specialty
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Progressive Care Unit or similar clinical setting
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for patient care and discharge planning, ensures timely documentation in medical records, supports patient education, and contributes to a safe and supportive work environment. Leadership responsibilities, including charge nurse duties, may be assumed following orientation. Engages in professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
