Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position available in Bristol, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality patient care while supervising nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will be responsible for assessments, care planning, and discharge preparation, ensuring patient safety and promoting positive health outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting 08/24/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift for CIRH (if applicable). At least 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, documents all patient interactions accurately, participates in rehabilitation and discharge planning, and ensures effective communication among care team members. Demonstrates leadership by supervising ancillary staff, managing unit operations, and participating in team building to foster a positive work environment. Maintains safety standards in accordance with hospital policy and promotes professional growth through ongoing education.
