Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Moses Lake, Washington This position centers on providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN functions as both a caregiver and care manager, overseeing patient care, coordinating with team members, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. The role requires thorough understanding of obstetric care and the ability to make sound clinical decisions to support mothers and newborns.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Washington State RN Licensure; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent within 30 days of hire; Experience as an acute care registered nurse is preferred; minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
  • Preferred Qualifications: AAP NRP Advanced (American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to the end of orientation and renew every 2 years; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years; AWHONNs Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course obtained within 3 months of completing L&D training and renewed every 2 years; RN-C in specialty preferred
  • Additional Information: Up to 24 hours of call off per month to the facility at no cost during the course of the assignment
