Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position is located in Maywood, Illinois. The role involves providing high-acuity patient care in the ICU setting during the day shift. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing critically ill patients and adhering to hospital protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 1 year of related clinical experience, and Illinois licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) setting, familiarity with hospital SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documents, and additional certifications in critical care nursing.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be prepared to follow facility-specific protocols and demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response procedures.
