Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialty Healthcare Professional in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department of a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboring with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care for obstetric patients across various high-risk and low-risk scenarios.

Job Details:

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
• Shift Time: Days
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including ACLS and BLS, current nursing license, and at least 0 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Unit Information: Labor & Delivery/Antepartum unit with 19 beds, 55 staff members; patient ratios include 2:1 for labors, 3:1 for OBED, and 4:1 for Antepartum.
• Typical Procedures: C-Sections, Cerclage, BTLD & C for PPH only.
• Skill Set: Must have experience with OBED Circulate C-Sections, management of high-risk Antepartums, labor experience, and ability to manage COVID patients in labor, C-Section, Antepartum, and OBED.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with advanced fetal monitoring (FM) skills are highly considered.
• Personnel Profile: Candidates should demonstrate great teamwork and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs; no t-shirts.
• Work Schedule: May include four weekend shifts per month, with a mandatory minimum of 2 weekend shifts. No on-call required.
