Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVICU) nurse position is located in Prescott, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing acutely ill patients, adhering to clinical protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU); experience with patients diagnosed with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD); skills in IABP, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and fresh Orthopedic Surgery (OHS) from the operating room are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Impella experience is desired.
• Float: Float to ICU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Medical Surgical (MS)/Telemetry as needed, across both campuses
• Additional Information: Clinicians must pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract; failure to meet the score threshold will result in eligibility restrictions. The unit utilizes vents, BiPAP, C-PAP, Vapotherm, and HiFlow equipment. Telemetry monitors are in-room; RNs are responsible for reading strips. The role includes weekend shifts, with two per pay period, and holiday work is required. In-unit in room monitors are used, and all staff must adhere to a navy blue scrubs dress code. Experience with Impella device use and Cerner charting system is preferred.
