Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor registered nurse is responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing oncology treatments. This role involves autonomous practice supported by professional standards, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse will monitor patient status, recognize changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or equivalent, Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Additional Information: The nurse will utilize critical thinking to anticipate patient needs and identify changes in condition, adjusting the care plan accordingly. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.
