Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary
A Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse is needed for a healthcare provider located in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing inpatient care in a hospital setting, with a focus on medical-surgical patient management, including telemetry monitoring. This position is an extended 6-month long-term assignment to support the organization through the winter holiday season.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Location: Des Moines, Iowa
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current nursing license; 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or telemetry; relevant certifications and licensure for practicing in the state of Iowa.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, trauma nursing, or other specialized certifications related to telemetry or medical-surgical care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves working within the organization`s established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Adaptability to a fast-paced hospital environment and efficient patient care skills are essential.
