Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Step Down Unit
• Location: Altoona, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 certifications; High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; 2 years of nursing experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in step down or telemetry units; Additional relevant certifications in critical care nursing
• Additional Information: The role entails providing comprehensive nursing care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and fostering patient-centered, culturally competent interactions. The nurse will participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
