• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
• Weekend Hours: On call from Saturday 7 am through Monday 7 am (48 hours), with a 30-minute response time
• Float: Float to general operating rooms may be required if neuro cases are not scheduled
• Certifications: REQUIRED certifications prior to start, including ADN
• Experience: At least one year of circulating nursing experience with neuro specialization preferred; minimum experience required is 0 years
• Required Skills/Experience: Basic circulating knowledge with a neuro specialty; experience with meditech documentation, Jackson bed, Mazor robot, Stealth Navigation, and flexibility in shift start times (either 6:30 or 8 am)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cranial, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures, pain pumps, and Spinal Cord Stimulators (SCS)
• Additional Notes: Candidates should be accountable, dependable, and self-sufficient; patient advocacy is emphasized. The unit is equipped with specialized neuro surgical equipment including Jackson beds, Mazor robots, and navigation systems.
