Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Wilson, North Carolina. This opportunity involves providing patient care in a 22-bed Telemetry unit within a facility that offers comprehensive medical and surgical services. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations, including those with cardiac conditions and other complex diagnoses.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and ability to interpret EKGs and manage discharges and admissions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing cardiac drips and working within Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible and team-oriented. The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, post-cardiac catheterization care, and others.

• Dress Code: Scrubs (color not assigned). No artificial nails permitted.
