Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialty Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role involves managing patient care activities with a focus on safety, compassion, and clinical excellence. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to ensure positive outcomes throughout the childbirth process and beyond. This position emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to community health.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift schedule, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting from 08/10/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 certifications; BSN degree preferred; 0 years of experience minimum required; located in Pennsylvania.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in labor and delivery or neonatology is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care during labor, assisting with deliveries, postpartum care, providing patient education, and maintaining clinical documentation. The role requires flexibility to adapt to a rotating schedule and close collaboration with the healthcare team to promote a safe and healing environment.
