Registered Nurse / Operating Room (First Assistant)

Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Kentucky. This role involves supporting surgical teams by performing crucial tasks such as suturing, providing exposure, and controlling bleeding during procedures. Candidates must hold the appropriate state certification and credentialing to practice legally.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room First Assistant RN
• Location: 498 JETT DR, JACKSON, Kentucky, United States
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience preferred; valid Kentucky nursing license; credentialing through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Certification for Surgical Assistants (NCCSA); application for Surgical Assistant Certification through the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure.
• Additional Information: No weekend call at this time. All travel submissions require documentation of at least 2 years of experience including prior travel; local candidates will not be considered. This is a replacement position for permanent staff.
