Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary:
The healthcare facility in Vail, Colorado is seeking a Surgical Technician specializing in operating room procedures. This role involves assisting during surgical procedures by ensuring and maintaining a sterile environment and providing instrumentation to the surgical team. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic perioperative team, supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Vail, CO
• Specialty: ORT Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
• Schedule: 3x12s shifts, with 8-hour shift hours, minimum of 32 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist; license as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ability to obtain computer skills within 90 days necessary for online competency requirements; proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; standing for extended periods; and other physical activities as needed.

• Additional Information: Must adhere to HIPAA and demonstrate proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques; maintain flexibility in scope of practice; participate actively in team communication and patient transport; model professional behavior and uphold principles of a Just Culture; perform instrument cleaning and preparation for sterilization.
