Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves circulating in a busy OR environment, with a focus on ortho, neuro, and podiatry cases. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work block days during scheduled shifts. Candidates must be willing to participate in rotational call including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Valid AHA (American Heart Association) certifications; 1 year of clinical experience; the position is based in Rockford, Illinois.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts each week, with start times at 6:30 AM or 9:00 AM, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have a strong skill set in ortho, neuro, or podiatry and be experienced in circulating surgical procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Shift coverage includes rotational call duties during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted to ensure staffing requirements are met.
