Job Summary
The Nurse, Telemetry (TELE) specialty, will be based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within the telemetry unit, focusing on patient safety, quality improvement, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and evidence-based practice in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; 2 years of nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or clinical experience in telemetry preferred.
• Additional Information: The nurse will perform in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors, actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilize research and evidence-based practices to support clinical care, and foster a healing environment through relationship-based care. The role requires strong communication skills, cultural competence, and a commitment to professional development.
