Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a facility located in Richlands, Virginia. This position involves floating to the Nursery and Post-Partum units, providing care for obstetric and neonatal patients in a Level 3 obstetric unit. The role is designed for experienced nurses to support the units operational needs, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE for nursery. Education or experience requirements include at least 1 year (preferably 18 months) of relevant obstetric nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OB-Labor and Delivery (L&D) and nursery care.
• Additional Information: The OB unit generally has low volume, with fewer than 15 deliveries per month. Previous experience with OB delivery and nursery care is preferred. Candidate must be comfortable with general OB unit equipment and electronic health records using Meditech.
