Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Michigan City, Indiana. This role entails providing exceptional patient care within a high-volume Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for delivering immediate and ongoing care to a diverse patient population, utilizing their clinical expertise and adhering to hospital protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours, every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Required Qualifications: Valid State licensure RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, 2 years of emergency room experience, located in Indiana or willing to relocate, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The position requires working in a unit with 23 beds, patient ratios of 4:1, and equipment including Level 1 ultrasound, Sonosite, and Bear Hugger. EMR system in use is Epic. The RN will be responsible for managing patients from newborn to adult, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a compassionate attitude. The Candidate will be expected to complete any required education modules prior to the first day.
