Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The ICU registered nurse role is located in Lancaster, Ohio. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the intensive care unit. The role requires supervising co-workers, delegating appropriate tasks, and performing all duties in accordance with the healthcare providers policies and guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing, or Bachelors degree in Nursing); CPR certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide high-quality care based on assessment needs and established plans of care, including patient education from admission through discharge. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, notifying physicians of patient status changes, administering medications, and ensuring equipment availability. The position requires physical capacity to perform heavy work, including frequent patient handling, and demands strong critical-thinking, organization, and communication skills.
