Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in IowaThis role involves providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and neonatal nursery. The position requires active experience in labor and delivery, with an emphasis on electronic fetal monitoring and infant resuscitation. The job entails working nights at a facility with a focus on maternal health and neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Location: Grinnell, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current labor and delivery experience, active Iowa or multistate license, ACLS certification, NRP certification, FHM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification, BLS certification, 1 year experience in nursery/mother-baby, EPIC electronic health record experience, and experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and neonatal nursery care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in nursery/mother-baby units, post-partum care, and prior travel experience is highly preferred.
• Certification and Licensure: Active Iowa or multistate license, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certifications.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 8/17 and 8/24. Candidates may float to med-surg or ICU units to assist with patient care as needed. Submission requires specific documentation including proof of licensure, certifications, work history reflecting 24 months of labor and delivery experience, professional references within the past 24 months, and a valid drivers license.
