Registered Nurse / Clinic (No Specific Specialty)

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an outpatient clinic registered nurse (RN) specializing in urology in Richland, Washington. This position involves predominantly performing catheter exchanges with recent experience required within the last six months. The role offers a day shift schedule, with a patient volume of approximately 8 patients per day in a fast-paced environment, serving adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 1 year of experience, outpatient clinic experience, recent catheter exchange experience within the last 6 months, and current BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Urology background, emergency room (ER) or pre/post-surgical experience, outpatient or ambulatory care experience, previous experience with catheter exchanges, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and EPIC charting system proficiency
• Special Requirements: Candidate must have consistent recent experience with catheter exchanges, be seasoned travelers, and able to train for telephone triage if extending the contract
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include catheter exchanges (hard stop), intravesicular BCG mixing and administration, trial of void, trial of passage, suprapubic catheter exchange, self-catheterization, and other urology-related procedures. The role expects the candidate to handle clinical responsibilities efficiently within a team providing interpretation services, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary support.
