Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse position is based in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing patient care on a med-surg unit with a patient ratio estimated at 1:7. The assignment is suitable for experienced RNs with a minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting. The position offers a consistent night shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid Georgia RN license, at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required to like units as needed
• Additional Information: The unit is a med-surg floor equipped with standard medical equipment, including EKGs, glucometers, and venipuncture tools. Candidates must adhere to unit-specific policies and dress code of royal blue top and bottom. The hospital is known for its innovative programs and supportive staff.
