Registered Nurse / Infusion

Job Summary:
The Maryland-based healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse for a full-time assignment. This role involves providing patient-focused infusion care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, requiring proficiency in IV insertions, central line management, and ongoing patient assessment. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology infusion and be capable of rapid intervention in emergent situations.

Job Details:

• Position: Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; 2 years of RN experience; BLS certification; chemo, bio, and immunotherapy provider card; oncology infusion experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience; ACLS certification; previous travel experience; emergency room experience.
• Skill Requirements: Peripheral intravenous insertion skills; peripheral blood drawing; access, maintenance, and de-accessing of central lines; strong assessment skills; ability to provide ongoing patient education.
• Additional Information: Must have ONS/OCC chemo card (taken online through ONS). Candidates with previous employment in any Johns Hopkins health system facility must have been gone for at least one full year before applying as a traveler. Verification of prior employment is required before offer.
