Registered Nurse / Intermediate Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse position in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing health teaching and counseling, and executing delegated medical tasks to support patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and NIH certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing, TNCC certification.
• Additional Information: The Registered Nurse will promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization, ensuring documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing therapy and treatment plans, utilizing resources effectively, and potentially floating to other departments within scope of competency. May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
