Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Floor in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position involves providing adult patient care in a clinical setting with a minimum of one year of Urology experience preferred. Epic electronic health record (EHR) system experience is also preferred. The role requires independent practice, clinical assessment, patient education, and collaborative care planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, one year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred, BLS certification from American Heart Association required, RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact license
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience preferred
• Additional Information: The nurse will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, document patient history and care activities, and provide patient and family education. Responsibilities also include managing clinical contingencies and delegating tasks as appropriate to care providers.
