Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This 13-week assignment involves delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and contributing to patient safety initiatives. The RN will play a critical role in assessments, planning, and discharge preparation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift with 12-hour shifts; a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification prior to first shift, ACLS certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), a minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, with the location being Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), strong communication skills, teamwork-oriented attitude.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and participates in patient rehabilitation programs. Responsible for accurate documentation, discharge planning, patient teaching, and supervision of ancillary staff. Maintains safety standards, contributes to positive team environment, and seeks ongoing professional development.
