Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Nacogdoches, Texas. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients in the emergency department. The nurse will supervise staff, support high-quality and safe patient care, and ensure staff competency and resource management at the unit level.

Job Details:

• Location: Nacogdoches, Texas
• Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency room nursing, educational or certification credentials as applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with emergency department protocols, certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
• Additional Information: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care.
