Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a level 1 trauma environment. The position offers a rotating shift schedule primarily during night hours, with opportunities for call and weekend work. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team handling diverse surgical cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, robotics, and transplant surgeries.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights; call and weekends required (call can be weekday and/or weekend; weekends may be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and at least 3 years of experience; minimum of 2 years in the last 3 in an operating room setting. Level 1 trauma experience for at least 1 year out of the last 3 years. Must have at least 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years. Scrub experience in all listed cases is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics and transplant surgeries. Strong skills in general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must respond to offers within 48 hours, as offers will be pulled otherwise. Time off will not be added or altered once an offer is accepted. Candidates should have scrub experience in all cases listed.
