Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum care in Irving, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality patient care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn nursery patients in a hospital setting. The position requires adaptability to unit policies and a focus on patient safety and comfort during critical care moments.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Location: Irving, Texas
• Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2 or more years of hospital experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must have BLS and NRP certifications. Experience with documentation systems such as Meditech and ability to care for high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients, including newborn nursery care, are required.
• Preferred Skills: Advanced Fetal Monitoring, RNC-OB certification, Meditech experience
• Procedures performed: IV placement, patient care in antepartum and newborn nursery units
• Dress Code: Scrubs in royal blue, neat and clean appearance; no artificial nails or extreme hairstyles; tattoos covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears prohibited.
• Floating: Floating rotation may be required.
• Attendance: Company-wide attendance policy will be followed.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for high-risk antepartum patients, postpartum recoveries, and newborn nursery patients in a hospital environment. Candidate must demonstrate excellent patient experience skills and adherence to unit guidelines.
