Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit is sought for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility located in Plano, Texas. This role involves providing skilled patient care on a telehealth/step-down unit, adhering to established clinical protocols and ensuring patient safety. The position offers a dynamic environment ideal for experienced RNs seeking to expand their clinical expertise.

Job Details:

• Location: Plano, TX
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 2 years hospital experience, 2+ years of specialty experience in a successful step-down or telemetry unit, BLS, ACLS certifications; no temporary licenses accepted
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, telemetry, and step-down unit experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Candidate must follow hospital dress code, including wearing royal blue scrubs. Cleanness and professionalism in personal appearance are required, including no artificial nails, neatly trimmed facial hair, and covered tattoos when possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Attendance policies in place, and a rotating weekend schedule is required.
