Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) management for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. This position involves providing critical patient care in a MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) setting, focusing on patients with complex and acute health conditions. The role requires adapting to the unit`s specific protocols and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week starting from 09/07/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 2 or more years of MICU/Medical ICU experience, valid RN license in Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, additional certifications are not specified but are preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit cares for critically ill patients requiring advanced ventilator and monitoring support. Procedures performed include central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. Candidates must adhere to dress code policies, including wearing royal blue scrubs and maintaining personal presentation standards as specified. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Attendance policies will be followed according to organizational standards.
