Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Dallas, TX. This role involves providing advanced nursing care within a busy emergency department setting, ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols. The position requires a proactive healthcare professional capable of managing a fast-paced environment and delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (active, temporary licenses not accepted), minimum of 2 years of experience, at least 2 years of specialty experience in the ER, NIH (National Institutes of Health) required, BLS (Basic Life Support) required, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required, specialty/unit certifications required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred
  • Unit Specifics: General ER responsibilities with documentation system utilizing Meditech, floating policy as needed, candidates must meet specified skill set including RN licensure
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs for RNs; nails should be clean with no artificial enhancements; hair must be neat and tied back if shoulder length or longer; tattoos should be covered when possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
  • Attendance Policy: The organizations attendance policy will be followed
