Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a facility in Weatherford, Texas. The role involves providing direct patient care in the labor and delivery unit, including immediate newborn care and assisting with cesarean sections. The position is a night shift with rotating weekends, requiring candidates to have strong clinical skills related to obstetrics and newborn care.
Job Details:
- Location: Weatherford, TX
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Active Texas RN license, 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience in labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, PACU, cesarean sections, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to scrub for cesarean sections, Meditech experience.
- Position Details:
- Unit with 4 beds for labor, delivery, and recovery
- Patient ratios of 1:1 to 2:1
- No unit security or tech documentation system tasks
- No floating required
- Special Skills/Experience Required:
- Labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, PACU, cesarean section experience
- BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications
- Additional Information:
- Must circulate cesarean sections
- Facility will provide scrubs
- Dress code includes neat and clean hair, covered tattoos, and no visible piercings other than earrings
