Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart specialty position located in Utica, New York. This role involves supporting adult patient care within an acute care setting, focusing on open heart procedures. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to provide competent and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4x10-hour days, variable shifts.
• **Required Qualifications:**one or more years of experience; graduation from an accredited nursing program with an associate`s degree; current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Yes, if census is low.
• Additional Information: The assignment duration is 13 weeks. On-call responsibilities may include up to 7 days per four-week schedule, including one full weekend. The facility uses EPIC and Omnicell technologies and typically manages adult patients with common diagnoses such as coronary artery disease, atrial stenosis, and mitral regurgitation.
